Contractor analytics

Contractor analytics. Start with the record.

Review the activity recorded in your BuildFolio account: website-widget interactions, estimates, jobs and unpaid invoices. Use the dashboard to choose what to check next, rather than treating a chart as a promise of future revenue.

Account permissions and usage limits apply. A separate 14-day Pro trial requires a card and renews at $39/month unless canceled before it ends.

What does the contractor analytics dashboard show?

The Analytics page brings together customer-facing panels for widget activity, estimate performance, jobs and revenue, and invoice aging. Panels use the records available to your organization. Access and available detail depend on the panel, your account and the data recorded; an empty or failed section is not proof that no activity occurred.

Available workflow

Choose the record or panel for your task.

Widget activity

The last-seven-days view shows recorded widget opens, starts and submissions. It is not a count of purchased leads or a complete advertising-return calculation.

Estimate performance

The last-thirty-days panel summarizes estimate activity. Review the original proposal and its status before interpreting acceptance or loss.

Jobs and revenue

Review the jobs and financial records available to your account. Revenue Overview can show an upgrade prompt; financial totals are not a substitute for reconciled accounts.

Invoice aging

Review unpaid invoices by aging bucket and open the invoice for its balance, due date and status. A chart does not confirm payment, email delivery or collection success.

A useful review in three steps

1. Start with a question

Choose a task such as reviewing widget submissions or checking outstanding invoices.

2. Check coverage and access

Look at the panel period and available records. If data cannot load, retry; do not treat a failed request as a zero.

3. Return to the record

Review the estimate, job or invoice and decide on a manual next action. Paid reminders and accounting integrations are separate workflows.

Keep the limits in view

Check each panel’s period, access and available records before interpreting a total. A widget submission is not a completed job, and an unpaid invoice is not collected revenue. Follow up through the underlying record.

Common questions

Do I need Google Analytics to see these panels?

These panels use BuildFolio account records and website-widget activity. They are not a replacement for a separately configured website analytics or advertising-attribution system.

Is every analytics panel available on Free?

Panel access varies. Revenue Overview can require an upgrade, and available records affect what is displayed. Check the dashboard and current pricing for your account rather than assuming all panels share one entitlement.

What if a panel is empty or fails to load?

No data and a failed request are different states. Check that the relevant records exist and use the available retry control. Do not interpret missing data as a measured zero.

Does a dashboard automate customer follow-up?

Reviewing a dashboard does not send a customer message. Invoice reminders and accounting integrations have their own settings, eligibility and delivery requirements.

Review your account, then choose the next action.

Start with your own records. A useful review identifies a specific estimate, job or invoice to check; it does not guarantee higher conversion or faster payment.

A card is required for the trial. It renews at $39/month unless canceled before it ends. Review current plans.
